Description:Description from The Vendor: This much loved Mercedes SL320 was bought from new by Mr Thorner for his wife as a gift. It has been very well looked after, always garaged. This very low mileage Mercedes has a comprehensive service history. As Mr Thorner passed away over 9 years ago Mrs Thorner is the registered owner so the car has remained within the same family. Now, at 85 years old, she has decided that it is time for someone else to have the pleasure of this car.
Auctioneer’s notes: Mercedes Benz 320 SL 1998 50,336 warranted miles. An excellent example of a 320 SL Roadster and she has only had one owner from new. She was first registered to the husband and when he sadly passed away his wife registered her in her name. The mileage of 50336 is fully warranted. The book pack is complete down to a Mercedes Benz pen. She was supplied by Caffyns Wessex Ltd of Dorchester. She has 14 stamps see appendix 1 plus invoices and MOTs. I have to add that the file of this car is very impressive, she comes with spare keys and this superb car may be viewed, strictly by appointment.
