Description from The Vendor:

This is a local car having spent its life in the Bournemouth area. When I purchased the vehicle in 1992 the speedo read just over 29000 miles it now shows just under 39000 miles.) believe this to be correct.

The bodywork has not been repaired and the paintwork is original although needs some cosmetic attention and has an unusual color of Blue Royale, the original carpet is fitted but is faded.

Both subframes have been removed, components stripped and repaired/replaced as needed, cleaned and painted. The metal bush in the steering rack has been replaced by a polycarbon bush making the steering slightly tighter than usual, but it does not rattle.

A new battery and clutch slave cylinder were fitted earlier this year.

There is an extra spare wheel in the boot with a copy of the makers workshop manual.

Auctioneer’s notes:

This fantastic Morris 1300 is in a real time warp having only had 4 owners, including the vendor who purchased the car 31 years ago and it is possible, but we cannot prove it, that the mileage might  be correct.  There is a handwritten receipt – see Appendix 1 – when the vendor bought her in 1992  which says 28,000 and we have MOT’s from 1990 and she also comes with an original sales brochure and not one but three handbooks.  She really is a lovely car and wants a new home as the vendor is now retiring from driving.  May be viewed, strictly by appointment.
