Auctioneers Notes: This remarkable 1934 Morris 8 flat radiator 2 seater convertible is a rare car and in outstanding condition. These cars are ahead of their time mechanically. They are fitted with hydraulic brakes, where most cars of that time had either rod brakes are cable brakes, well balanced crankshaft, synchro on third and fourth gears, electric fuel pumps and SU carbs and on the suspension you will find Armstrong hydraulic shocks.
All in all this is a delightful thirties 2 seater convertible. In the files, of which there are 2, you will find a wealth of maintenance and repair manuals, including the original 1934 addition, price 1s/6d, spare keys, old log books including a green one and copies (full size) of the manufacturers’ drawings for the toolmakers.
