Morris 8, 1935 series 1, 4 door sliding head. Superb condition inside and out, with green and black paintwork and green leather interior. 6 recorded owners in 80 years, first registered in Merseyside in 1935, original valuable number plate. Restored to original condition by Morris Register official, with the work recorded in a club magazine article. After the restoration it was used as a motor museum exhibit for many years. It took part in the London to Brighton classic car run during the 1990s on at least one occasion.
Unmarked green leather seats, rear window blind operated from the driving position. Rare budgie mirrors to check if semaphores are in or out. Semaphores and flashers fitted, but flashers can be removed easily if required. Fully working sun roof also it has the period tool roll. Instant starter, recent battery and tyres, engine does not smoke.
It has an original luggage rack presently fitted with a large wicker hamper, which can be easily removed. Also comes with a period operation manual and jack with wooden T bar. The restoration is holding up very well, but it has a few minor blemishes and small jobs to do to bring it back to concours condition if that is what you prefer.
Tax free, MOT exempt, maintenance and MOT history going back many years. Recorded mileage 66,820 probably genuine but not able to prove.
A very lovely car with a good provenance and almost complete ownership history, ready to enjoy.
