This vehicle was purchased new in January 1958 by a Mr Pawson of Croydon, this replaced his previous black Morris Minor. Thirteen years later he handed it over to his daughter, by that time it had 13,000 miles on the clock. She continued to use it until it was sold to Mr Marchbank in 1985 who intended to restore it. Over the following years he did some work on the car that included replacing rusty panels and had the engine reconditioned. The car remained in his garage in bits until January 2009 when the current owner took on the restoration which was completed in August 2010, mileage at that time 82,481. The car has lived locally in Dorchester since then and the vendor states its fun to drive and surprisingly nippy for its age. It is now being sold as it is seldom used since it is parked in another place and the family feel it should be enjoyed by someone new.
