Lot No: 43
Year Make Model Mileage SOLD FOR
1993 Rover Mini Mayfair 16,043 (Not Warranted) £8000.00 + buyers premium

Description:

This stunning custom mini was totally rebuilt using a new old stock Rover shell by Gemma Thorogood, a respected mini specialist. It has covered 16,000 miles since and is still virtually as new. Finished in Ford Panther black with Thistle purple and silver stripes, it is totally rust free and the paint finish is superb. The underside is as good as the top, and thanks to a refreshed and mildly tuned MG Metro 1275 engine and gearbox, servo brakes with rebuilt disc assemblies, spaced rear drums, Hi-Los, Monroe dampers, and DTM exhaust, it goes and sounds as well as it looks.
Many Mk1 features include bonnet, cooper grille and moustache, boot lid, rear light conversion, and centre dash pod. Gauges are Smiths magnolia with cooper S 130mph speedo and rev counter. Numerous nice touches include Downton mirrors and many Wood&Pickett items.
The history file includes a copy of Mini Magazine in which a six page article gives full details of the cars history and unique specification.
