Description:For a video of the bike click here Totally restored certificate from the Triumph Owners Motorcycle Club, stating she was built at the factory on 26.1.60 and all the numbers are matching. Originally exported to California and she was repatriated to the UK. Non transferable registration number. Auctioneers Notes: This is a wonderful opportunity to own a piece of British motor bike history, there are 7 in all, including 5 restored Bonnevilles. One of these 5 was already restored when purchased and the other 4 have been completely restored by Richard Allen – see appendix 1. He knew the deceased previous owner for over approx 60 years and the beautiful bikes were gifted to him in acknowledgement of their friendship. He restored all these bikes and his standard of workmanship is second to none. One bike I would like to specially mentioned is JVS877 and the certificate of authenticity shows she was built in 1958 and is believed to be one of the very first bikes to come of the production line. Now, to the other 2, one of which is a Triumph Tiger which is absolutely beautiful and the other one is for you people out there who like to tinker. It is a Triumph Bonneville which needs restoring and is sold at no reserve. It is worth noting, none of these bikes have run since the restoration and if you look at the speedometers, which have been rebuilt, they have only covered one or two miles, so a light recommissioning is recommended before use.
