Description:This is an original UK RHD TR3. While in previous ownership of 21 years the car underwent a full body off restoration with no expense spared. The body was restored by North Devon Metal Craft. New steel panels as required no panel patching was carried out. The engine was rebuilt with a balanced crankshaft and high port lead-free cylinder head. Gearbox and over drive rebuilt. Chassis which is excellent was refurbished and all running gear rebuilt before fitting of body and respray. Interior finished in beige, leather seats with red piping. New side screens, mohair hood and tonneau cover. Sits on excellent chrome wire wheels. In the last few years the following upgrades have been fitted, high torque starter, rack and pinion steering, front disc brakes, electric fan, narrow belt conversion, spin on oil filter. Very low mileage since all work carried out. Large comprehensive file including invoices, old MOTs, old style logbook, photos and rebuild CD’s. Auctioneers notes: This is a very good looking TR. She must be one of the very early TR’s fitted with discs brakes. The high port head will push the BHP from 90 – 100. |
