The Model: As a successor to the beloved TR3A, the Triumph TR4 is one of the representitives of 60’s British sports cars. The TR4’s chassis and drivetrain were pretty much the same as it’s predecessor, yet its updated body design by Michelotti sets it apart. Under the bonnet the TR4 is powered by a standard wet liner inline-four engine through a four-speed manual transmission with synchromesh on all forward gears, along with the optional and highly desrirable Laycock de Normanville electrically operated overdrive.
