Description:Auctioneer’s notes: This is a 1982 Volkswagen Golf GLI Cabriolet. Rarer seen to it’s GTI sibling, the GLI is a bit more of an up market model with a few more features than the GTI hence the name ‘Grand Luxe Injection’. This car has been stored by The Vendor for quite a while now and has deteriorated in this time. Clearly some attempts have been made in the past on this Golf which would explain the newish looking front wing, however, overall the car is going to require a full restoration or could be broken for spares and repairs on another 80’s Golf. The Vendor is selling as he is losing his storage and has decided to slim down the majority of his collection. |
