Description:Auctioneer’s notes: This Volkswagen T4 Transporter has been converted into a pickup, loosley based on the original T2 Pickup. The project to turn it into a pickup has been ongoing since 2016. The vehicle comes complete with the original engine and gearbox on a pallet in the pickup bed which were fully working when removed from the vehicle. The pickup has now been fitted with a Golf GT TDi engine that has covered just 72,000 miles. The new engine comes with its service book which contains 10 stamps. The pickup has also been recently fully serviced including a new cambelt. The conversion of this pickup has been very well-done, and it is clear that a fortune has been spent on it. The spending is capped off by a recent MOT which runs until May 2024. The Vendor is selling this pickup to slim down his classic collection of over 20 cars.
