“NEAR SELLOUT AT SWVA
South Western Vehicle Auctions’ latest Classic Sale on 30 July in Poole, Dorset, produced yet another superb result. All but five of the 95 lots were sold giving a sell-through rate of a whisker under 95%. It now hasn’t dipped below the 90% for a remarkable five years. Big surprise this time was the bidding battle for a 1970 Wolseley 16/60 with two-tone paint and whitewalls. It showed an unconfirmed unlikely 29,000 miles and was estimated at £2750 – £3750. The final bid saw £12,312 paid.”
