The car has had a complete body restoration, which took 10 years, a new hood and side screens completed with a hood bag as well as a new set of tires. Auctioneer’s notes: This is a Dinky toy of a car. These 2 seater Tourers are very, very rare and this example is out of the top drawer. There is a charming note from the vendor’s wife explaining why this delightful car has come to market (see Appendix 1) The history file is what all classic car enthusiasts would like to have. It covers the total restoration of this little car, all the invoices are there, parts catalogues, old MOT’s – one dated 1966 – there is even a green logbook. She really is superb.
