A lovely, well-maintained example of the first-generation Mazda Eunos Roadster, finished in Red and owned by the Vendor since its import from Japan in 2001. With its unmistakable pop-up headlights, compact proportions and lightweight rear-wheel-drive chassis, the Eunos Roadster has become a highly regarded modern classic. The Vendor reports that the car has covered relatively little mileage in recent years.

Maintenance & Condition:

The car has reportedly been mechanically well maintained throughout the Vendor's long ownership, with servicing carried out at regular intervals and supporting invoices included within the history file. Notably, a replacement cam belt kit was fitted in 2021 at 128,569 kilometers. The car is currently MOT'd until February 2027. History:

The Model:

Introduced in 1989, the Eunos Roadster was the Japanese domestic-market counterpart to the first-generation Mazda MX-5. Inspired by lightweight British sports cars of the 1960s, the NA-generation Roadster combined a 1.6-litre twin-cam four-cylinder engine with rear-wheel drive, independent double-wishbone suspension and a kerb weight of under one tonne. Its simple mechanical layout, engaging handling and now-iconic pop-up headlights helped establish the MX-5/Eunos Roadster as one of the world's most successful two-seat sports cars.
