An honest  example of the gradually dissappearing Citroën AX Spree, this 1994 car is finished in blue over a cloth interior and it has been owned by The Vendor for the last four years and used regularly as a daily driver for commuting. Affectionately named “Gavin”, this AX is only being offered for sale as The Vendor is heading to university in Manchester and can no longer justify keeping the car.

Maintenance & Condition:

The AX has been in regular use during the vendor’s ownership, helping to ensure it remains a usable and enjoyable example rather than a dormant one. The mileage is a genuine 56,226, supported by service records and MOT history. The interior and exterior present as you would expect from a well-kept, lightly used supermini of this era—honest and full of character. A maintenance book shows four service stamps between 1999 at 14,370 miles and 2024 at 48,142 miles.

History:

This AX spent the majority of its life in Northern Ireland with an elderly lady, which accounts for its notably low mileage. It later moved to England, where it has had a total of three former keepers prior to the current vendor. The history file is a pleasing one and includes vehicle test certificates from its Northern Ireland days, MOT certificates, a handful of invoices and the original Citroen bookpack. Within the bookpack are the Owner’s Handbook, Audio System booklet, Accessories booklet and Maintenance book.
