This is a good example of a 1965 Triumph T100SS Tiger, presented in an attractive Silver and Black colour scheme complemented by a Black seat.
With just two former keepers on record, this T100SS has enjoyed a relatively low-ownership life—an increasingly rare trait in classic motorcycles of this era. The bike has been under the care of its current registered keeper for the past six years. While there is no history on file , its well-preserved appearance suggests careful upkeep over the years.
The Triumph Tiger 100 (T100) was originally introduced in 1939 and quickly gained popularity before production was halted during WWII. After resuming in 1946, the model evolved significantly, with the 1960s seeing the introduction of several successful variants including the T100SS, T100C, and T100R. The T100SS—produced primarily for the UK and US markets—was developed as a sporty, lightweight machine, powered by a 490cc unit-construction twin with a single carburettor. It was a direct descendant of the Speed Twin, offering enhanced performance and modern styling.
This 1965 T100SS Tiger offers a fantastic opportunity for collectors or enthusiasts seeking a well-presented example of one of Triumph’s most iconic mid-century motorcycles.
