This 1967 Riley Elf Mk III is an appealing example of BMC’s upmarket Mini derivative, finished in grey with a contrasting full vinyl roof and Webasto sliding sunroof, complemented by a red interior and traditional wood-veneer dashboard. It retains much of the Elf’s distinctive period character while benefiting from a number of practical mechanical upgrades. The interior presents with attractive age-related patina, particularly to the seating, while the woodwork remains a defining feature of the cabin.

Maintenance & Condition:

The Vendor reports that the car has received numerous modifications and replacement components, including an upgrade from front drum to disc brakes, new upper and lower ball joints, CV joints and a new rear subframe. Further improvements include an all-synchromesh gearbox, three-branch exhaust manifold with larger-bore exhaust system, HS4 SU carburettor, and a set of 12-inch alloy wheels with new tyres.

Cosmetically, the car presents as an older, usable example rather than a freshly restored vehicle, with age-related wear visible to the paintwork and interior. The red seating displays noticeable patina and creasing consistent with use, while the cabin retains its wood-veneered fascia and period character. The Model:
