Finished in elegant Ice Blue over a cream leather interior, this 1995 Jaguar XJS 4.0 Auto Convertible is a particularly clean and tidy example of Jaguar's enduring grand tourer. The combination suits the car beautifully, while the overall presentation suggests that it has been cherished for many years.

A particularly appealing detail is the original hood cover, which remains stored in the boot still within its original wrapping and apparently never used. Accompanying the car is an unusually substantial and interesting history file, adding considerably to the appeal of this late-production XJS.

Maintenance & Condition:

The history contains service and maintenance invoices totalling approximately £7,500, demonstrating sustained expenditure on the car over the years. Documented work encompasses the driveshaft bearings, air-conditioning condenser, thermostat and suspension, alongside regular servicing and the routine replacement of consumable components.

The original black leather Jaguar bookpack is also retained, containing the owner's handbook, quick-reference literature and relevant directories. Importantly, the accompanying service book contains an impressive 16 service stamps, further reinforcing the evidence of continued maintenance.

The Model:

By 1995, the XJS represented the culmination of some two decades of development. Paired with a smooth four-speed automatic transmission, the 3,980cc six-cylinder engine provides effortless performance ideally suited to the XJS Convertible's character.
